Taking a home into inventory is never the best solution to a home sale. Nexus knows that the longer a home “sits” vacant the more costly the sale becomes. From ongoing mortgage and upkeep expenses to less buyer interest, a home in inventory can create concern about expenses.

Before one home came into inventory, Nexus had an evaluation of cosmetic issues and repairs that were creating some buyer resistance. We had the contractor bids in hand and ordered work to begin immediately after the home was vacant. Once buyers knew that the work was being done, we had an offer before the crew came to begin the project. The buyers wanted their choice of material colors and we closed that home in record time!
